Satiety is the Key
I once interviewed the brilliant Professor Tim Noakes, and he asked me what everyone who's overweight has in common. After about 10 guesses, I still hadn't got it. He said, "Steve, it's that they're all driven by hunger."
Park that for a moment.
I've also coached people who say they can't lose weight because they're always hungry. And you know what? I agree with them. I think it's impossible to lose weight when you're hungry.
But here's the thing, we do have the answer at Clubwell.
To lose weight sustainably, you have to not feel hungry. And that's where eating fibre, prioritising plenty of protein and fats makes all the difference. These nutrients trigger the hormones that tell your brain you're satisfied. They keep you full for hours, not minutes.
You don't need a weight loss injection to feel full. You just need the human diet. The foods we evolved eating, the ones that naturally signal satiety.
As you read this digest today, think about your last meal. Did it leave you satisfied or searching for something else an hour later? That's your answer right there.
Your action today: Track one meal where you prioritise fibre, protein and fat. Notice how long you feel genuinely satisfied afterwards. That's your body working as it should.
Put your fibre up, get your carbs down, never feel hungry, and watch your body find its ideal weight naturally.
