My AK47 coffee

Years ago I came across Bulletproof coffee, the original blend made famous by Dave Asprey. I took the idea and tweaked it. I called it the AK47 Coffee, because it will load you up like nothing else for the morning ahead.

The name also reflects Autophagy and Ketones, as it supports autophagy while also providing ketones. And 47, well there are four main ingredients and if you go all I, there are 7!

Here's the recipe:

1. Filtered water.

2. A double espresso, or a strong black filter coffee

3. A heaped tablespoon of grass-fed butter. Real butter from cows that ate grass. Yellow, not pale.

4. A tablespoon of MCT oil or extra virgin coconut oil. MCTs are the only fats your liver turns straight into ketones, fuel for your brain.

Optional:

A half-teaspoon of cacao powder for a chocolate hit.

A pinch of pink Himalayan salt. Adrenal support and a mineral kick.

Cinnamon: Just a pinch for an antioxidant punch.

Whizz it all in a blender for 5 seconds until it looks like a frothy latte.

What it does. The fat slows the caffeine release, so you get four hours of clean energy with no crash. The MCT oil feeds your brain directly. Salt steadies blood sugar. The whole drink keeps your insulin low, which means your body keeps burning fat all morning.

I've started many days like this for the last eight years. When I do, my wife says I'm dangerous to talk to before 11am.
