Make sure your cholesterol checks are always accurate with our Blood Lipid Control Solutions. Each pack comes with two bottles — one for Total Cholesterol and one for HDL (the “good” cholesterol) — so you can double-check your test system is working properly.
They’re simple to use: just add a drop to your test strip, run the test as normal, and compare the result with the control range on the bottle. If the numbers match up, you know your device and strips are giving you reliable readings.
Best used when you’re starting a new batch of strips, after cleaning your meter, or anytime you want the reassurance that your cholesterol tests are spot-on.
Step 1: Shake control solution bottle thoroughly before use and allow it to reach room temperature.
Step 2: Insert a new test strip into meter.
Step 3: Squeeze the control solution bottle gently and discard first drop. Squeeze a second small drop onto the test strip sample area and ensure sample is sufficient.
Step 4: Read the results from the meter display.
